How to Create a Card on Privacy
Follow the steps below to create and manage a virtual card on Privacy:
Step 1: Create a New Card
From the Privacy home screen, tap the “New Card” button. This will open the card creation screen.

Step 2: Select the Type of Card

You can personalize your card by:
Assigning a nickname & store for easy identification of the card and store.
Step 4: Setting Spending Limit
Setting a spending limit to control usage either daily, monthly, or total spending.
To set or adjust the limit, tap on “Spend Limit” and enter your desired amount.


Step 5: Increasing Your Privacy Limits
If you need higher daily or monthly spending limits, you have two options:
Contact Privacy Support to request a limit increase
Use your current limits consistently: Privacy may automatically increase your limits once you regularly reach your daily or monthly cap

Step-by-Step: How to Start with Slash
What is Slash?
Slash is a virtual credit card (VCC) platform that lets you fund your account first and then use those funds on supported websites. It’s useful if you want better control over spending or don’t want to use your main bank card online. In order to open a slash account you need to have a business account. You’re able to lock cards based on merchants if you choose this route.
Eligibility: To obtain Slash virtual cards, you must meet the following requirements:

Create a Slash Account
Visit the Slash website or app using the divine invite link.

Step 1: Select cards on the left tab
Step 2: Click ADD to create a card

Step 1: Select “Limits Tab” and toggle on “Utilization Limit”

Step-by-Step: How to Start with Revolut
Revolut cards can ask for 3DS when making a purchase. It is site dependent but usually works on most sites. There have been times if you build history on a site they will not keep asking you for 3DS.
Step 1: Open the Revolut App
Open the Revolut app on your phone
Log in to your account
Make sure your account is verified and has funds available. Select the “+ Add Money” icon on the bottom-left corner to add funds to your account.
Step 2: Go to the Cards Section
Tap “Cards” on top right corner

Select “Add new card”

Step 3: Choose Your Card Type
Select the card you want to create:
Physical card – delivered to your address
Virtual card – for online payments
Disposable virtual card – for one-time purchases

💡 Tip: You can customize and organize your cards by purpose or merchant: such as Target, Walmart, Best Buy, or Shopify. Staying organized makes tracking and managing expenses much easier.

Works on the majority of sites.
When a card is merchant-locked, it can only be used on the first website where it’s charged. For example, if you make a purchase on Target, that same card cannot be used on Walmart and will result in a decline.. It’s best to generate a separate card for each site you plan to use.

How to Create & Manage a Virtual Card
Step 2: Go to Cards on the bottom menu
Step 3: Tap Add a virtual card.

Step 4: Choose the type of card you want (Free Trial, Single Use, or Standard).

Adjust settings like monthly limits by clicking “Set Limit”

How to Create a Virtual Card
Log in to Amex Extend
Go to the Extend dashboard and sign in. https://app.paywithextend.com/home

Select Your Amex Card
Choose the American Express card you want the virtual card tied to.
Click “Create Card”
This starts the virtual card setup.
Select either Standard or “Recurring card”

Set the Card Spending Limit
Enter the spending limit you want for the card.
Assign a Merchant (Recommended)
Add the merchant or website name.
Merchant‑locked cards reduce declines and misuse.
Set Expiration (Optional)
Choose an expiration date if you want the card to auto‑disable.
Create the Card
Confirm details and generate the virtual card.

Stripe Virtual Card Guide (Issuing)
⚠️ Important – Read First
Stripe does NOT automatically give virtual cards. Virtual cards are part of Stripe Issuing and require:
A fully verified Stripe business account
Approval for Stripe Issuing
A legitimate business use case (expenses, employee cards, SaaS tools, etc.)

Step 1: Create a Stripe Account
Go to stripe.com
Click Start now

Sign up using:
Business email
Strong password
Verify your email
Step 2: Complete Business Verification
In your Stripe dashboard, submit:
Legal business name (LLC / Corp / Individual)
Business address
EIN (or SSN for sole prop)
Owner identity verification
Bank account for payouts
All info must be real and matching or Stripe will restrict the account.
Step 3: Activate Payments
Dashboard → Payments
Enable:
Card payments
Optional: Apple Pay / Google Pay
Add:
Website or product description
Refund policy
Customer support contact
Stripe will auto-review this.
Step 4: Apply for Stripe Issuing (Virtual Cards)

Step 5: Create a Card Holder
Once approved:
Issuing → Cards https://dashboard.stripe.com/issuing/cardholders
Click Create card
Select:
Virtual card
Select cardholder type: individual or company

Step 6: Add a billing address.

If you’re creating a company card, add the tax ID number.
Add contact information, which is required for certain features like digital wallets.

Click Create cardholder.
Step 7: Create a virtual card
You can use the Dashboard to create a new card
Go to Issuing → Cards
Click Create card (upper right)

Search for and select the cardholder you created
Choose Virtual as the card type
Click Activate card
Click Create.

How to Set, Adjust, or Remove Card Spending LimitsGo to the Cardholders section of your Corporate Card Dashboard.
Select the cardholder’s name to view the card details.
Under Authorization Controls, click Edit.
Under Spending Limits, review the current spending limit (amount, interval, and categories).
To add a spending limit, click Add and set the desired amount, interval, and categories.
To remove a spending limit, click the trash icon next to the limit.
To adjust a spending limit, remove the existing limit using the trash icon, then click Add to set a new one.
